Chakras are Energy Centers as well as major acupuncture points. They are the openings for Life Force Energy, which is also known as Qi, Ki or Prana to flow into and out of our Aura.
There are seven to eleven major Chakras and each one of these have a subchakra or several subchakras. These subchakras are called minor Chakras.
They are like circular vortexes of energy that are placed in different points on the spinal column, and all these major Chakras are connected to the various organs and glands within the body. They not only control and energize the vital organs of the body but also control and affect a person’s psychological and spiritual conditions.
Just as the physical body has vital and minor organs, the Energy Body has major, minor and mini Chakras.
These energy vortices have physical, psychological and spiritual functions and are responsible for distributing the Life Force Energy throughout the Energy Body.
Whenever a Chakra is disrupted or blocked, the Life Force Energy also gets blocked, leading to the onset of mental and health ailments. When the harmonious balance of these major Chakras is disrupted or damaged, it can cause several problems in our lives, including our physical health, emotional health and our mental state of mind.
The same way when your back or hip gets out of alignment a trip to the chiropractor's office for a spinal adjustment may be imminent. Similarly, a healer trained in manipulating the energy flow of energy can assist you in getting misaligned Chakras back to functioning properly.
Think of your Chakra centers as a vehicle. We need to tune the engine, align the tires, replace the fluids, and balance the steering. Our Chakras are no different and require both alignment and balancing. Aligning them focuses on healing a particular Chakra that is out of sync, which could cause other Chakras to work overtime. Balancing them puts them all in sync so they can work together as a collective whole.
When your Chakras, or spiritual centers are balanced, you begin to undo the damage caused by living your life backward, from head first, forgetting the body and spirit altogether. If your life isn't supported by a grounded source of energy, it will wither and lose its vitality and this can lead to a dis-eased body and mind.
